Sessions with me, a biodynamic craniosacral practitioner, can be immensely helpful when it comes to jaw issues such as CMD/TMJ, Bruxism or pain due to braces and other orthodontic corrections.
I can help release tension around the jaw joint, as well as in nearby and related structures. I also assist in identifying the underlying causes of these tensions, pains, or blockages. Everything in the body is interconnected, and it is not always possible to perceive or understand these connections ourselves. For example, jaw issues can sometimes originate from imbalances in the pelvis. I listen to the body’s signals and work according to what it reveals, aiming to address the root cause of the discomfort and treat it from there.

Have you helped people with this before?
Yes, I have supported several clients, both adults and teenagers, with various types of jaw complaints. These problems can arise for many reasons (pain from braces is quite straightforward/we know why it’s happening), and each person requires different support and treatment plans. Some experience pain from clenching their teeth at night, where a mouthguard does not help, leading to extreme tension in the jaw joint, which can also cause headaches and dizziness. Others have issues due to problems in the neck, back, or pelvis, or from periods of stress.

How many treatments are needed to see results?
This is highly individual. No two people are alike, and the same applies to our experiences and our bodies. It is impossible to predict exactly how many treatments you will need to achieve the results and changes you desire.

My previous clients with this specific issue have come for between 3 and 15 sessions, with varying intervals. In the case of braces, it can be helpful to come within 2–4 days after an adjustment to help the jaw and cranial bones find their new position as smoothly as possible.

I recommend starting with 4–6 sessions at individually tailored intervals. This may be enough for you to achieve the sustainable change you are aiming for.
